SPEAKER BIO:

Jennifer Robinson serves as Associate General Counsel at The Northern Trust Company and leads the team of trust lawyers in the U.S. that support Northern’s Wealth Management business. Jennifer is AV rated and has twenty-eight years of experience in the trust and estate practice.

Prior to joining Northern Trust, Jennifer was a shareholder with the Gunster law firm and a shareholder at Ruden, McClosky, Smith Schuster & Russell. Her practice at both firms focused solely on estate planning, estate and trust administration, guardianship administration and litigation matters arising from estates, trusts and guardianships. Her private practice clients included corporate fiduciaries, individuals, and charitable organizations.

Jennifer is a graduate of the University of Florida (B.S.) and Nova Southeastern University (J.D., summa cum laude), where she was a member of the Nova Southeastern Law Review.

Jennifer is active with the Real Property Probate and Trust Law (“RPPTL”) Section of the Florida Bar and is a member of several RPPTL committees, including Probate Law and Procedure, Trust Law, Probate Litigation and Guardianship and Advance Directives. Jennifer currently serves as Co-Vice Chair of the Trust Law Committee and is a member of the Executive Council. Jennifer is a frequent speaker on estate and trust topics.

Jennifer is a member of the Professional Advisors Council for the Community Foundation of Broward County, is on the Board of Directors of the Humane Society of Broward County and the Gift Acceptance Committee for the Humane Society of Broward County. Jennifer is a graduate of Leadership Broward Class XXI and previously served on the Board of Directors of both the Lighthouse of Broward County and Winterfest. Jennifer is also a past board member of the Estate Planning Council of Broward County and a past Sustainer of the Junior League.
