This program will review the core concepts of constitutional homestead under Article X, Section 4 as it relates to administration and management of homestead property in trusts, estates and guardianships. The program will also include a detailed discussion of the relevant Florida Statutes, Probate Rules and case law that expand and further define the concept and will alert fiduciaries to potential traps and complications associated with the benefits of constitutional homestead in Florida.
